AGENT
SWARM
NO AGENT HOLDS THE PLAN.
An experiment in stigmergy, handoffs, and getting somewhere without anyone knowing the way.
NOBODY BRIEFED THEM.
Most coordination assumes someone holds the whole picture: a manager, a scheduler, a spec. Swarms work without one.
A termite does not know what a mound is. It knows what to do when it finds a pellet of mud in front of it. The structure is the sum of ten thousand small reactions to whatever was already there.
The question is how much can be built when nobody is told anything, and how much depends on the marks being honest.
RELEASE THE AGENTS.
WATCH THE FLOOR.
No agent holds a map. Nest is marked in chalk; food is marked in vermilion. Agents sample traces ahead, move, and deposit pheromones.
* No agent knows where the food is. Wipe the floor and they are lost until the trail grows back.
* This is a toy model running on your device. It is not a model of any real system, and its numbers describe this run only.
THE MEMORY IS IN THE GROUND.
01 — THE TRACE
An agent changes the environment as a side effect of working.
02 — THE READER
The next agent reacts to that change, not to the agent who made it.
03 — THE FADE
Traces decay unless they are reinforced, so stale information clears itself.
Honest limits of stigmergy: Stigmergy does not guarantee the best route, or any route. Early random trails can be reinforced and lock the swarm into a sub-optimal path.
It is not consensus, voting, or agreement. It gives no single agent understanding of the result. If traces evaporate too slowly, the swarm follows outdated information; if they evaporate too quickly, nothing accumulates.
NOBODY ANSWERS FOR THIS.
RULES OF THE FLOOR.
AGENT SWARM / $SWARM
Agent Swarm is a community-driven Solana meme coin inspired by stigmergy and the idea of work passed on by trace instead of by instruction. The token is the cultural artifact. The trail is the story.
THE EVOLUTION OF THE TRAIL.
THE FIRST WALKER
Someone wanders off in a direction.
THE SECOND READER
Someone else finds the mark and follows it.
THE TRAIL
Enough feet make it look deliberate.
UNKNOWN
Wherever the floor leads next.
